DESCRIPTION

Here's the latest and the most popular version II dry carbon M-Inspired carbon mirror covers for the A90 Supra. Other than the mounting clips, it's made of 100% carbon fiber that is lighter in weight and high tensile strength than our ABS plastic overlay version. These version II dry carbon mirror covers weigh only 121 grams VS the version I ABS plastic overlay at 239 grams on each side; that’s almost half the weight shaved!

Dry carbon fiber's name comes from its manufacturing process. Dry carbon fiber is formed by using a "pre-preg" or impregnated piece of carbon materials. This piece of carbon is first placed into a mold and then into a sealed vacuum (autoclave) to properly cure. This method creates the least amount of waste and forms a lighter version of carbon than the “wet” method. The autoclave vacuuming process of making dry carbon means fewer pinholes and virtually no air pockets in the carbon. Dry carbon is the highest-quality version of carbon fiber products that are produced.

All AutoTecknic mirror caps are made according to their OEM counterpart to ensure a 100% fit. Our products go through rigorous tests and quality control before they are released to the public.
